Xbox One Preview Update

Ok so I just became a part of the preview update thing because i was invited by my friend.I was really excited because i knew that it would have a lot of new features.The update was great at first,I like the changes that have been made but there is one BIG
problem that I am facing.All of my games and apps no longer launch.The start and they give me the error that this game or app took too long to start.It was working before this update and I have tried everything to fix this.

When restart it my xbox freezes so i just do the hard reset and it works.As the xbox turns on I can launch a game now and the game starts but it suddenly crashes and now everthing gives the error again.I really need help guys.I would really appreciate if
Microsoft would help.

If you get a message that states that the "group cannot be found" PM a mod so they can grant you access to those parts of the forums.

And if you want an invitation to the program you will have to go through 3 steps, and the program isn't accepting new members yet in fact it seems like it is full of members.

1) Be invited

2) Be accepted

3) Enroll

(Note being accepted can take up to months before actually getting into the program and there is no guarantees and if you have any 'recent' enforcement action on your account can restrict access to the program. But if your enforcement action was a year ago
then your set and authorized to join the program.)

Or you could factory restore the Xbox

Be sure to choose this option though when doing the restore.

Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling
the large game files. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps and save Reset and remove everything
as a last resort.

 

Will factory reset get me to the previous update?

 

so i was sent here by Xbox support because i bought a game on one of my systems and the game is not showing that i own it. The gam was bought the same day of the update. According to XBOX support i do not have the license for the game but they can see that
i bought it . On my home system it is asking me to buy the game again. Can i please get some help, i have spoken with teh support team 4 times and still got nowhere. They also gave me a service request number.

 

The factory reset will not change the version of the OS the Xbox is using, it does though clear up any corrupted data that may be causing issues.

 

Hi Jafet1681, to obtain the best possible support could you create your own thread explaining your issue please. It just helps to prevent things getting confused if there are numerous issues all in the one thread.

 

Hey I was trying to fix it all day, but suddenly an update showed so I thought its a good idea to let it update.

The update was long and as soon as it reaches installing, it restarts and the screen stays black!!!The power button keeps blinking constantly nd I've left it on for hours but nothing happened so I tried doing the hard reset and it makes the console work
but THE UPDATE STARTS AGAIN!!! I tried again and nothing changed,I can't use my console online without the update and even a reset just gets stuck and I have to hard reser.Please help.I am dying

 

Hi Ketchum360, it's not looking so good is it ? However if you check out the link regarding a factory restore in my previous post there is a way to factory restore the Xbox using a USB flash drive. That will though remove all the games/apps etc from the
Xbox, at the moment that's the only thing I can suggest to try.

The options after that are to visit the preview forums and ask for further assistance there or to contact Xbox support with regards to getting the Xbox repaired.
