Xbox One Preview Update PARTY ISSUES

Since the preview update has gone into effect I haven't been able to join a party with friends. I can't join a friends room to be able to play a game. If I send a friend an invitation to a party/game they will receive it but can't accept it.

Xbox live connection issue

dependin on the xb1 and what update you are on this can happen.. the newer update with the user interface similar to windows10 had a big update to part chatt.. it even expanded how many in the party.. pre the windows 10 update allot of users had issues with chatt with people in the preview program and people not.. not sure if the problems still exist..

 

This has been happening to me as well

 

It seems everyone is having the same problem with the party me being one of them

 

guys there is one thing we could try and that is inviting each other into a party and see if that works cosidering we are running the preview updates. if it works then we know that the update is required to chat but if it doesn't work then it will prove
that it is a bug.

 

I can't invite friends either

 

I don't wanna be a part of this preview if it's gonna do this

 

You can unregister from it by going into your apps and load up your registration app and select unregister

 

Same issue, unregistered, but I may have to wait 2 days to get playing with friends back. I wish an official Xbox supporter could answer this for us, whether it's just a plain "the parties are compatible" or something like that.

 

I'm having the same issues with the march update., which is completely ***. Xbox just make things so complicated. What if i use another console to play with my friends to get off this update ,will that work?

 

It stated in the agreement that party chat with non preview users would not be possible.the update changes the party app, and is not compatible with non preview party app. If everyone would calm down a little and take a breath. You CAN play with your friends,
you just can;t be in a party. Play the same game and use in-game chat to talk with one another. For future reference you can opt-out of future preview updates by opening registration app and opting-out.

 

I am aboute to sell my xbox 1.i have been told that today every body would have the update so icould play games with my ppl . But nothing happen i spend over 1200.00 no thang for the xbox i am tired of the b.s.

 

Go ahead and go to playstation... youll see the same there and sell it to get your xbox back and when all is said and done you spent all this money for a temper tantrum. Get a nintendo if you want simple plain and easy, thats why theyre marketed to infants
and the elderly

 

Is there any way to get a few more update codes? I cant play in the same game as friends for cod ghost until this is fixed so i havent been playing much at all anymore and none of the people i play with received the preview codes this is the only solution
i can put together (cod ghost you need a party inv then you get the game inv after i can only join private match sessions and skype chat but will not work for clan wars tomorrow if im unable to play with my team!)
