xbox one preview team

Hi there,

I've been told to post on her from xbox customer service. I managed to get a code from Major Nelson Thursday for the xbox one preview team. I have entered it on my console and clicked join but to date i had nothing back from them to say i have joined. I
have had no update either for August update for preview members. I still cant access the xbox one preview member forum ether. Thus the post on this forum..

Can anyone from the team help me out? Cheers

so you get a code from major nelson or someone like that saying xbox one preview team and you dont get access to the preview team??

 

Xbox One Preview Team

I am interested in becoming part one the Xbox One update preview team. I was on it for the xbox 360 and i dont see that I am for the xbox one. I have been an Xbox Live Member since its inception and would love to help improve the experience. Does anyone
have any idea how to get an invite? I Chatted with a support team member and they said they usually send out invites or if you have a friend they could recommend you. Any ideas?

 

It's for Xbox One. Go to My Games & Apps then Apps and scroll to the far right until you see a grey pane. That should then populate with owned-but-not-installed apps. You should see an app called Xbox Preview Dashboard. Click A on that to download and install
it. Then run it and you should be able to enroll your console to the preview. An update should follow within a couple days.

nope not got anything there jsut some apps ready to install.. brazil now, crackle, machinima and uplay

 

I re-read your original post. So you already opened some app and pressed join? It may just take a few days. It still needs to be approved by the Preview team after you hit join so it could take a couple days (the weekend may make it take longer) and after
that you should receive the update. Although we're nearing the end of the 1408 preview, so you may not actually get anything until they roll out the 1408 update to public and (very shortly after) the 1409 update to all previewers.

 

awwww no way... the update only came out the other day though didnt it? Is that quick a turn around.

 

The one that came out the other day was 1409.

It's slightly complicated: 1409 was only released to a small subset of testers. Others, like myself, were held back on 1408 because it still needs some testing. However, 1408 should be done pretty soon at which point it goes public and all the testers get
moved onto 1409, which is when you should at least have your update, in the case they don't put you on 1408 (which is a possibility).

 

hi guys the new preview update is out and i still have no access to it and no update on the system.
