Xbox one preview team help!!

Hi guys,

I really need some official help here...

I got a code from Mike ybarra on twitter for the xbox one preview team in august. I redeemed the code and click the tile. I then clicked 'join' in the app. It then says i should recieve a message on my console once activated, it still hasnt come to me and
upon checking i still cant access the preview team forum!!

I've message Miss portia on here, Miss Quinex on here and no one is replying to me..

I have the code still that i redeemed if you want to check it against my account?

Just someone please get me sorted, i've missed 3 months worth of previewing

If you receive a message from xbox with a code and instructions. You're in.

If you get this YOU ARE IN. if you get no message you are not. It's just that simple.

Hi there just because you recieved a code doesnt necessasarily guarantee entry into the preview program. As was mentioned before ask a friend who is in the program for an invite.

Please go to the Preview Dashboard App, make sure you have the latest version of the app which was updated a few days ago. Then, go to registration you should see your console and its status as Pending or Enrolled. If its Enrolled, then your good to go.
However, since the recent Preview Update already was tested and released you will need to wait till the November update Preview.

This is the thing Major it doesnt get that far i have an 'xbox one preview registration' tile no a dashboard app. Whenever i click it tells me congratulations and then to click 'join' which i do. It then says ill receive a service message on my console but
that message never comes... it's been like this since august!

Sorry about the misunderstanding. In this case since you have the original Preview App which is no longer supported. This will explain why you are having issues with the registration. What I did for you is I PM one of the Preview Program Engineers mistur
niceguy to have them send you the new Xbox Preview Dashboard App. This can at times take 24hours once they send out the codes for you to receive it.

 

Ahhh ok sounds good. Thanks alot. So how will i receive this then via email or on console or direct message?

 

When they send Preview Codes out it will come Via Xbox Live Message. What I would recommend for you is that when you get the message view it on your Xbox One that way its easier to redeem.

 

So will i have to wait until they send out the next preview update before i get registered as a preview member and get the app and access to forums etc...

 

No, once you get the Code then you can use the App and register. However, you wont get an update for your console till the next preview update.

Hi Dann,

Major pointed me to this thread, I see you were approved for Preview back on August 14th, but it sounds like you didn't receive the message. I've PM'd you with instructions on downloading the Preview Dashboard which you should be able to follow without waiting
for another system message.

Once you've downloaded and opened the Dashboard you should be prompted to enroll your console. That enrollment should be completed by Monday night, at which point the Dashboard will reflect your console as 'Enrolled'. This will all be done in plenty of time
for the next Preview update.

I've also added Preview forums permissions for your Gamertag, please feel free to come say hi.
