    I have been invited by xbox to join the preview program, but i just want to make sure if i do will i still be able to play and talk with my friends in a party chat??? i heard you couldnt but wasnt sure, thanks

    Opt Out of Dashboard Preview

    Yes you can. That was a problem with one particular update when they change from Chat default off to chat default On.
