xbox one preview program issue

Hi there, I bought a used xbox one from game stop, I was invited to the preview program under . however it says when I open the preview app "that this console is already registered to another account" can someone help me, I receive the updates
but I cannot see whats new, or bug fixes. can I give someone my console serial number and they can unregister the old account on this console? I tried to get into the preview program forums but it says group not found?

Interesting. In general, from my experience, Microsoft doesn't seem to like giving support to used/second hand consoles. You can't access these forums...

forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx ? Have you tried resetting your console to factory specs? Don't know if that would work. Have you called support? 1-800-4MY-XBOX?

No I can't see them and I called Xbox support and they said to post here that someone will help unlink the old account associate to my console so I can accept the pending preview program invite.

I don't know why they would send you here...support don't monitor "these" forums.

Phone and chat support actually don't handle the preview program. You would need to try either posting in an Xbox One support forum (forums.xbox.com/.../4268.aspx)
or sending a PM to a member of support to see if they can assist.
