Xbox One pretends to shut down, and the drive spins at night

I checked that the console is in the "energy saving" mode, but this does not prevent it from rotating the BD drive at night.
Updates have been turned on. This allows the console to do amateur?
Or is it the fault of not very smart programmers from Microsoft?
The prefix in the "energy saving" mode when you press the shutdown should turn off immediately, but not later.
If the console is updating something at the moment, a warning should appear "I can not turn off now because of the update."
This will force me to disconnect the console from the power supply!

You could always just unplug it before you go to bed

Sounds like you need to go turn off instant on in the settings.

Short answer is no, it doesn't reinstall games. What happens is, the console goes online and looks for updates available for the console and games as previously stated by fellow XBF Diego M, in an effort to install those updates at night and not bother the
gamer with wait times. If this is in fact an inconvenience turn the
auto updates off and turn the console to
power saving mode. Give it a shot and let us know if the issue persists!

I'm not exactly sure what the question you are asking here is but, I have a feeling it may be related to the background download feature being on. I have that on and sometimes my Xbox lights up and makes noises from time to time after I've turned
it "off." You should probably go mess around in your power and startup settings and you should be able to turn that off if you don't want it on. Don't worry though, your Xbox isn't possessed or haunted or anything.

I understand that he can download something. But I see no point in the need to rotate the drive - this is not normal, at least.
