    Xbox one prepaid card not working


    xbox one is currently having issues with prepaid cards being accepted on the console's. This is Thursday 11-3-16 and the 4 the day I have not been able to get online live. I have spoken to many people at Microsoft and still no progress. They keep telling
    me that they will call me when it's resolved. After them looking through everything on my account and seeing nothing wrong I still wait for the phone call. Is anyone else having these issues?

    Not sure how in 2016, you don't use debit or credit cards but that's just me.

    Anyway, could someone else confirm if using prepaid VISAs work or not? You could always go to gamestop or bestbuy, use your prepaid VISA card on a subscription xbox live card. That should work. Perhaps order a digital code on amazon with your prepaid VISA. I'm pretty sure they accept it.

    Doesn't trust banks or credit card companies. Tries to use their pre-paid cards.

    I fear for this person's future when they try to buy a house with no credit. Maybe they are rich and will just buy it out right with their mattress money.

    As for a solution to your problem, use your prepaid card from a company you don't trust to buy a 12-month or 3-month Xbox Live Gold card from the store.

    Are you using a regular debit card, or one of those prepaid ones you get at grocery stores? Sometimes these prepaid cards will not work with Xbox LIVE depending on the restrictions placed on them by the backing company.

    Hello you need a prepaid card if you buy games 360 on one.
    The One will not work with currency from a prepaid card for backwards compatible purchases.

    You can use prepaid cards for one time purchases but they will not work with subscriptions even if they have money on them. The system will not use prepaid cards for subscriptions

    Yes, if it has greendot. I would suggest getting a walmart money card (Prepaid Visa). All prepaid cards with greendot should work for xbox.
