Xbox one pre downloading games

Hi Ive pre ordered and downloaded black ops 3 to my external hardrive, if I take my console and external hardrive round my friends will it work without corrupting the file ? As the external hardrive will be unplugged from my house to his. I did this last
year and I had to re download the game at midnight which wasn't fun

Pre-Ordered Evolve Online but Xbox One says 'Purchase'

I pre-ordered Evolve Deluxe Edition tonight online and the game immediately started downloading onto my Xbox.

However when viewing the bundle I pre-ordered on the Xbox One itself it says "Purchase" suggesting I do not own it.

Is there an issue with the Xbox One store right now? I'm worried something occurred because when I pre-ordered online via xbox.com I got an error but shrugged it off because 1) my card was charged and 2) the game started downloading to my Xbox One.

Technically it should work with no issues. That said, whenever you remove and move a hard drive an error could occur or something could be corrupted. If you wanted a 100% work solution, I would pre-download it at both locations.

 

Hi hydro skillet, what if I moved my Xbox without unplugging the hardrive would that increase the chances of it working at midnight ? Even though I'll be in a different location with different Internet

I would say that would be pretty safe. If you use your console, with the same USB port, it's just like turning your system off and on. Just make sure you don't drop the hard drive
