Xbox one powers on then off immediately

Discus and support Xbox one powers on then off immediately in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When i power on the Xbox One system it makes the chime noise and power button in the front lights up like it’s suppose to then shuts off immediately...     Xbox one powers on then off immediately


    When i power on the Xbox One system it makes the chime noise and power button in the front lights up like it’s suppose to then shuts off immediately within 2-4 seconds, I called GameStop they recommended a new power supply brick so I purchased one it did
    not fix the problem. Ive read a lot of threads on the same issue. Is it something I can repair or replace or is the system shot?

    Xbox one power issue

    My Xbox one console powers on then powers off repeatedly, sometimes it's immediately and sometimes it will power off 5 or so minutes after being turned on, the power supply is still on good shape, it's an Xbox 1 original console, would this problem be hardware
    related or is it just getting old and need to be replaced by a newer model.

    OKay.. I figured the problem out. It's a timing thing. If I plug the Play and Charge kit in to charge and then shut down the system fairly quickly. The system will reboot. However, if I plug in the charge kit and wait about 20 seconds before shutting down..
    It will not reboot. It seems the Xbox takes a little bit to start the charging process which wakes the system up. So if I wait until it completely initializes charging. The system will go ahead and stay off. So in the end it wakes up like I just plugged the
    charge cable in while it was off. So I just wait a few seconds and it won't turn back on. Kind of sucky, but I guess I will have to time it and see how long to wait after plugging in the charge cable before shutting down.

    Hi, it helps to clear the cache. You do that by holding your finger on the Xbox button on the Xbox for ten seconds. Xbox turns off immediately. Then turn it on and it should work. If not try

    I plug the power brick into any outlet first it is orange and then when I plug it into my xbox one it turns off immediately. I received my replacement xbox and that does not work, I am having the same issue. I will now be sending in my power brick.

    This troubleshooting guide is the last thing to read before it tells you to send your hardware in for repair. Follow the guide and determine which is
    really at fault: the console, or power supply unit. Determining which is at fault should help with your repair order, as you can only send either the console itself or the power supply.

    There's not much else to tell you here if you still can't get the Xbox to turn on. Seems your only available options are to pay for the repair, or get a brand new console.

    I don't like to give bad news but everything points to be a hardware issue.
    But we can try to isolate to isolate the problem even more.
    For this, tell me:

    A. Did you tried using a completely different USB cable?
    B. If yes to the above, did you tried connecting the controller to a different device? (PC, other Xbox)
    C. Did you tried using a brand new batteries?
