Xbox One Power's On, Shows Green Loading Screen, Then BLACK

Fellow Xbox One Users,

I have a Xbox One and never experienced any issues to speak of. The Xbox one would seem to power itself on randomly which prompted me to switch over to the power saving mode to prevent excess wear and tear on the device especially if the thing isn't being
used for a day or two between gaming sessions. That's the extent of my back story to my current issue.

I attempted to power on the Xbox One tonight and the standard green loading screen came right up, but then instead of taking me to my dashboard as the norm the darn thing went black. Now the xbox isn't doing anything but appearing as though it is running
business as usual, but no amount of button presses, resets or voodoo hexes is bringing up my dashboard or allowing me to use the thing.

I have tried the steps offered via the xbox support site, different HDMI cords, different HDMI port, relocating the device to a location within my home with more natural sunlight, and even reset the factory default by holding the power button and the eject
button until the equipment made the sound as directed.

I'm curious if this has something to do with the fact that I went and turned the darn thing to energy saving mode because this never happened until I did that. Is there anyone with a connection to verify if the energy saving mode is related to this blackout
issue I am experiencing?

Looking to try anything at least twice, within reason.

Anyone with any clue on how to either correct this issue or what my next step should be please post, it is very much appreciated in advance.

Green loading screen appears followed by a black screen. Any suggestions?

When I turn on my xbox one, the green loading screen appears for a few seconds, then the screen goes black. Any suggestions?

Blank screen!!!!

HELP ME !!!!! My xbox one won't load. The green screen comes on and then instead of the home screen loading the screen goes black. Any suggestions please guys

I had the same problem. I had to send it in. I was spent over an hour with support but itn ended up having to be sent for repairs. They thought it is a failed update.

No, the green Xbox loading screen does display for about 30 seconds on power up. Then black screen.

If your console is not on stand by it takes longer to boot up. It will show the green screen with the loading dots and then go to a black screen for a minute then show the xbox logo. Are you turning it off on the black screen before the logo appears? If
you can turn it on then quickly hold the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it for 30 seconds from the outlet then plug back in and try powering back on again. Hopefully it will be able to boot up no problem.

Have you already tried to hold the power button on the console for about 10 seconds, and then starting the console again

When the console takes so long to laundh, does it show a green Xbox One logo screen, or does it show you a black screen and goes to the Home Screen?

My xbox is stuck on the black screen.. it comes onto the green loading screen and then goes black and stays like that.. u have Done the hard reset and also where you unplug it and we're you hold down the eject button and power button at same time and it
still won't move past the black screen

any ideas ?
