As the subject states, and i apologise if this has been mentioned somewhere, but i couldn't see it anywhere, I went to turn on my xbox this morning and I was greeted with no signal, the system powering on and the aforementioned beeping sequence. After the
beeps the console stays powered on, but does nothing, will only respond to holding the power button to turn it off.

I have looked through/ tried all the troubleshooting I could find that would be relevant and a possible solution for it (Changing TVs, changing HDMI cables, changing wall sockets, resetting the power brick, and the console) nothing has worked.

Thought I'd jump on here to see if anyone has had a similar issue at all and possibly found a solution.

Again, apologies if this is a repeat.

    :)

  2. It seems Fallout 4 has killed my console

Thanks for the tip, will try. I think that is the normal sequence I use, though.

I just get no audible beeps whatsoever. The console just sits there.

    beeping

ive noticed a few times now that my xbox 360 slim beeps every time its on at 0600 almost like an alarm clock. the game is not affected i dont get rrod no freezing just an annoying beeping noise that goes for about 10 sec then breaks for 20 or 30 sec then
beeps again for 10 sec and it does 3 total cycles. does anyone know what this is. i believe its coming from my tv because it is affected by my tvs volume like i barely heard it 15 min ago but i dont have any alarms or timers set on my tv. any advice? can it
be turned off? will i just have to deal with the beeping?

I can understand how ya feel, although Hard Disk Drives like all mass produced electrical equipment can fail before expected, I know this does not help your issue

sometimes it can feel like luck of the draw when something practically brand new goes wrong and for what seems no apparent reason..

I'm just glad I live in UK and for first year if any issues The shop you bought the item from will either refund you or replace the item there and then.

what shocks me is to read people have sent their consoles in for repair and when its been returned they are scratched or not the same condition you sent it to them.

sod being treated like that! I would not be happy lol I'm one of those type of people who like to keep my things looking as new as they did when I bought them.

I am even sad enough to keep the boxes stored and like new heh, so I wouldn't want some scratched up eyesore in my living room.

xbox series S shows unsupported mode after I changed the resolution

Just to confirm, are you trying to do the steps below in sequence?

If there's a disc in the console, eject it.

On the console, press and hold the Power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds to turn off the console.

Press and hold the Power button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start up in low resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).

Note If you have an Xbox Series S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, press and hold the Xbox button  and the Pair button  instead, as your console doesn’t have an Eject button.

In either case, this will start up your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480).

how do I fix my Xbox that has black screen but i can still hear through my mic

Hi, Steven. My name is Ron, I'm an independent advisor. I will be more than happy to help you.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Confirm that both your TV and Xbox One console are turned on.

Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI).

Check that the HDMI cable connections to your console and to your TV are secure.

Check that the HDMI cable is connected to the "out to TV" port on the console.

Try plugging the HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV.

Try using a different HDMI cable to connect your console to your TV.

Try connecting your console to a different TV.

Power cycle your Xbox One: Press and hold the Xbox button  for 10 seconds to turn off the console, and then turn it on again.

If the steps don't work, please try resetting the video settings by doing the steps below in sequence.

HDMI Issues

    Hello Martin,

Sorry for the issue with no signal. Well we know it is not the console as it works on another TV. Have you tried different HDMI ports on the TV that has no signal? Also in the guide there is a section to reset display settings to default.

Reset your display settings. Here's how:

    1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
    2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
    3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep.
DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.

    Try these let us know.

    Brad
