    I know I have seen others post on this problem, but the fan on my xbox one power supply is so loud, I can'e leave it on. I had to stop using the TV feature because I can't hear the TV. I can feel it vibrating inside, and if I move the power brick, it will
    stop periodically. It's not even a year old yet, but seems pretty crappy of a company the size of Microsoft to send a product with an always on feature, that can't really support always being on. I have had the same power supply on my xbox 360 since I got,
    never had a problem. Trying to see if it's under warranty, but not able to get through. Went to the replacement option, and it says I need to purchase a new one. Seems to me based on all the comments all over the web this is a problem Microsoft needs to
    fix on their dime, not mine.

    The power supply should always have a light on it.

    Orange light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is off

    White light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is in standby (charge controllers, download updates, etc.)

    White light on power supply/white light on Xbox One = Xbox One is on

    it'd be best to contact support via
    http://support.xbox.com    , select the category that applies to you and select 'chat with Microsoft Support'. Explain the situation to them and see if they can waive the replacement power supply fee for you.

    Thanks for your post. Use this guide: Xbox One Power Supply Solution to troubleshoot your Xbox One's power supply. If the power supply is
    making a noise it could be an internal fan that could have something lodged in it or ringing from one of the power supply's capacitors. If this issue persists or gets worse, the power supply may need replacement.
