    Xbox One Power Supply


    I'm having a problem where I am unable to turn on my Xbox One. When I have the power supply plugged into the wall it will light up orange like normal, but when I plug it in to the console the light immediately turns off. I've tried all combinations of
    unplugging it and plugging it back but am met with the same result. Is this a problem with the power supply and cords or is it something within the console itself?

    The power supply should always have a light on it.

    Orange light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is off

    White light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is in standby (charge controllers, download updates, etc.)

    White light on power supply/white light on Xbox One = Xbox One is on

    Thanks for your post. Use this guide: Xbox One Power Supply Solution to troubleshoot your Xbox One's power supply. If the power supply is
    making a noise it could be an internal fan that could have something lodged in it or ringing from one of the power supply's capacitors. If this issue persists or gets worse, the power supply may need replacement.
