    I was away at college, and when I came back home my Xbox would not turn on. I believe the problem is with the power supply. I tried to do the power supply reset, but it has not fixed anything. When I plug the power supply into the wall socket, the light
    on it is steady orange, but when I plug it into the console after the light turns off completely and the Xbox will not power on. I have looked up this problem before and have found no solid answers as to what the problem is. I also don't believe the problem
    is a power surge or blackout as there have been none in my area in the past 3 months I have been away.

    xbox one won't turn on won't even make a sound. Orange blinking light on power supply. I've tried changing to different outlets and it didn't work. I don't have any thing plugged into my console besides the power supply and HDMI. Nothing is working.

    The orange LED on the power supple usually means the power supply is functioning properly and that the issue is with the console

    xbox 360 slim got red light twice so far.

    It sounds like a faulty power supply. I would try another power supply if you can borrow one from a friend. If the problem happens again with the other power supply, it could be your 360 or it could be a faulty outlet that the power supply is plugged into.
    If the power supply is functioning properly, you should never see a red light on it.
