Xbox one power supply shuts down when playing games

It sounds like your PSU may need replacing.

Maybe it has too much dust in it, that could be what causes that, what I recommend you to do is to take it somewhere to be clean, or you are able to do so, you can do it yourself, though, it's a difficult task

Hi. What colour is the power supply light when you first turn on the console and then when the console shuts down? Do you see the power light flashing red at all before the console shuts down. Is it possible for you to try another power supply with your
console, maybe borrow one from a friend to see if you still get the issue. Is the power supply on anything such as a carpet or other soft furnishing.

Thanks for the response. Do you have the original Xbox One with an external power supply or the Xbox One S or Xbox One X that has an internal power supply? Does the Xbox feel hot when it shuts down?

If not, then that is a sign of a failing power supply. Unplug the power cord from the console and also switch power outlets. Leave the console unplugged for a few minutes. Make sure the cable is firmly inserted after you wait a few minutes.

I tried those it doesn't help and the power supply light switches on the only time it shuts down is when the console is on and I'm on a game
