Xbox one Power Supply Problem

Hello. I bought my Xbox One from the Middle East. The power brick for it uses 220v but now I moved to US, where its only 110V. I want to use my Xbox One, but can any one please tell me whether i can change the power brick or get a converter for it?

I have tried using a convertor but it heats up and stops working.

Any good convertor or ideas will be helpful.

My Xbox One won't turn on

Xbox One S with it's internal power supply will solve this problem or maybe the sucker will overheat???

I do not recommend using a converter at all for a power-hungry device like the Xbox.

Since Microsoft does not separately sell the power supply like other accessories (...for some reason), you will have to
contact Xbox support (chat or phone).

You will need to request for a US-compatible power supply, and there may be a cost associated with it. They should give you the exact rundown, if so.

Do you have a Xbox One with external power supply or an Xbox One S or X with internal power supply?

I say that because in the first case you can try another power supply (ask to a friend if possible) to see if this fix the problem.

I have the same problem man. I thought the problem was the power supply. But I try the power supply on the xbox one of my friend and it goes on. So the problem is the xbox. Sorry for my english... I'm italian

Sorry to hear you are encountering these problems with the Xbox One. In this case if the console does continue turning off on you I would advise that you take a look at the following support article to attempt and troubleshoot your Power Supply Unit.

This can usually be solves by resetting the surge protection in the power supply. Unplug the console and power supply (if you have an original Xbox one) for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. If that does not fix this problem your power supply (internal
or external) may need repairs.
