Xbox one power supply or Console burned?

It's hard to say if the console has been damaged or not, we only recommend to purchase the console from a retailer within the region of where you live for 100% compatibility.

If you have the original Xbox One with the external power supply, then I'd recommend following this guide: https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/reset-power-supply-solution

If the light on the power supply does not turn on at all or turns off while following that guide, then it is likely that the power supply burned out and would need to be replaced.

MY xbox power supply shows a green light when it is plugged in the wall only (not in the console yet) when plugged in the console too it shows a green light again but here the Xbox doesn't turn on. It's fan only powers on and runs really loud (burning smell
too). the Xbox doesn't respond. I heard when the Power brick is plugged in the wall only it needs to have an orange light not green.when plugged in the Xbox too then it goes green.

could this be caused by the power supply?

Sounds like a power supply issue

are you sure or is it a CPU issue what of the burning smell from the console when power supply is connected?

I cleaned the console up but the problem persists.

about the power supply replacement.Is this normal that when I plug it in the wall, the power supply shows a GREEN light.green light continues when put in the console but the console stays off however the console fan powers on instantly(seemingly only thing

hi how did you get a replacement of power supply in saudi arabia. I did the same mistake and my power supply is burned. I am not sure if it has damaged the console or no
