Xbox one power supply keep running even when console off

AC power standard to the DC power required by the console. An Xbox One power supply designed to run in a 240v region will provide the correct DC power to the console.

Note that the Xbox One power supplies are not worldwide compatible from an AC input perspective. A US power brick will not work in a 240v region.

Hey Canis! Good question.. Are there any other instances where your power supply goes red? Usually that means that you need to get it replaced, which you can do here: Xbox
360 Power Supply.

Also, you say the external HDD is still spinning even when the console is turned off? Is the console still running when this is happening?

Please try if a system cache reset solves the problem.

On your running console hold the powerbutton for about 15 seconds. Keep it holding even when the one turns off after some seconds. Wait for the power supply to change the color to orange and then restart the console.

You may also go to settings / blu ray and erase the permanent storage there.

So its off now and working as expexted?

the power supply (power Brick) has still lights on it even when the console turns off when i play games even when it off the power supply still show orange and solid white when i turn it on
