xBox One power supply - Is the xBox One Day One Edition compatible to any other power brick?

Is the xBox One Day One Edition compatible to any other power brick?

I have not gotten it cleaned out yet because it needs a T10 security screwdriver. I found a link on how to do it yourself and that is what it requires. I have also searched the web for something compatible but it was complicated finding any links that stated
what was replaceable or not.

Power supply ?

Would it be possible for you to tell us if it is a Xbox Product or a Third Party Device

I recently got the Elite Bundle and the power supply that was in the box did not seem any different from the Day One Xbox Power supply I used.

Also have a look at these two pages hopefully they can shed some light on the issue.

AC power standard to the DC power required by the console. An Xbox One power supply designed to run in a 240v region will provide the correct DC power to the console.

Note that the Xbox One power supplies are not worldwide compatible from an AC input perspective. A US power brick will not work in a 240v region.

All Xbox one are compatible (power supply wise) the Xbox one S and X both have internal power supplies so unfortunately no they aren't compatible. The best bet would be to go through one of our

authorized retailers for a replacement to the power supply

The way to change the display name would be

• Go to answers.microsoft.com
• Sign in with your Microsoft account
• Go to my profile
• Edit Profile
• Change display name

I also would not recommend attempting a self repair on your Power supply unit. The "brick" contains some big capacitors which hold enough charge they could cause serious injury or death.

You maybe out of luck getting a replacement as Microsoft no longer produce the Original Xbox One PSU
