  1. Xbox one power supply brick turns off as soon as it's plugged into the system

So, around 2 weeks ago, my Xbox one lost power and the little power brick light wasn't on. I tried different outlets and I noticed that the little orange light came on when it was plugged into the wall, but when plugged into the machine, it instantly lost
power. Please help, would it be more of a power supply issue or the system itself?

    :)

Why does my Power Brick stay on?

yea its because the xbox is never truly off.

On a pc, you have the system power button and the power supply power button. You can turn the computer off and on with the power button, but the system is still juiced unless you turn off the switch in the back, with the power supply button

Same goes for the xbox except the power supply (brick) doesnt have a button

    Power brick not turning off?

As long as the Power brick is connected to a Power outlet it will glow to indicate it's working and that you can turn on the Xbox One.

See this page for more info:

  4. Xbox one power supply brick turns off as soon as it's plugged into the system

This has happened to me. I just received my console after sending it to Germany. Turns out it's the power supply (which they asked me not to send) that's the fault. I bought my Xbox 6 weeks ago! I want a One S upgrade. Reason being it has a built in one
and better design. I think the ONE has issues - hence the change in design. I'm fuming

my xbox one turns on and off immediately

Do you have an original Xbox One, an S or an X? If you have an Xbox One original console try the following steps to reset your power supply:

    1. Unplug the power brick from the wall and from the console
    2. Wait no less than 10 seconds (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi....)
    3. Plug the brick back in to the power outlet but not the console itself just yet.
    4. If the LED indicator light on the power brick has a solid light, try plugging the brick back into the console without turning on your system just yet. If the light is flashing or off at this point then the power brick would need to be replaced.
Microsoft does cover this if it is within your consoles warranty. However, if the light is still solid after plugging the console back in then try turning on your Xbox.

    My xbox keeps shutting off

Your Xbox One console may unexpectedly turn off under the following circumstances:

    The console is too hot.

There's a problem with the power supply.

    Reset your internal power supply

The Xbox One S and Xbox One X have an internal power supply that works in all regions worldwide. If your console won't turn on, it may simply need a power reset. Often, power issues are due to the power supply resetting after a power surge.

To reset the internal power supply, follow these steps:

Unplug the power cord from the console.

    Wait 10 seconds.

Plug the cord back into the console, and then press the Xbox button on the front of the console.

or perhaps your power supply is clogged and overheating...
