Xbox One Power Supply Box

I am currently in the UK, from the US, where I bought my Xbox One. Prior to moving, I had contacted Microsoft to ask if there would be any difficulty using my system overseas and the agent I spoke to said that as long as I purchased an adapter, I should
be fine as there was a converter in the power supply. Just now, I went to plug everything in, and immediately, the box hissed and started smoking. Neither real good signs. Fortunately, I had not plugged the box into the system yet, as I believe that would
have destroyed it completely. So, now my question is, can I pick up a power supply here that will work, and if so, where?

Would it be possible for you to tell us if it is a Xbox Product or a Third Party Device

I recently got the Elite Bundle and the power supply that was in the box did not seem any different from the Day One Xbox Power supply I used.

The One S has an internal power supply that is not meant to be user replaceable.

As for the wattage, voltage and Amps, it doesn't matter as the power supply is 'multi-voltage'. This basically means the console can be plugged in anywhere around the world and it will 'just work'. The only regional difference will be the power plug the
console ships with in the box.

Only the original Xbox One requires an external power supply rated for correct voltage the region the machine will be used in.

One option is to try to get a new power supply diretly from microsoft, the other option is to get a power converter to use it.

Damn! So sorry. It must be a power supply then. Try to unplug and leave it for sometime. I presume that box is on the good ventilated place? Then try again.

I've tried a working power supply because we have to Xbox Ones. The Power Supplies both work on the other Xbox.

Do you mean an internal power supply?

Yeah it's well ventilated and gets a regular clean for dust.

I left it over an hour and tried again but nothing.
