The power cable on my Xbox One no longer works, where can I find another one to replace it? Thank you in advance for your answer

Unlike Xbox 360, the Xbox One does not have a menu option to clear cache on the console. Instead, follow these steps to clear cache on an Xbox One:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

et a weird behavior on your xbox one is to clear the cache and see if that solves the problem.

How to connect the cables of your Xbox 360 Console

You must connect the cables properly to run your Xbox 360 Console.

Here is how:

Original Xbox 360 console

First, you need to plug one end of the cable into the USB port on the back of the console and the other end into an electrical outlet.

If you have a wireless networking adapter, plug it into the USB port on the front of the console by using the supplied USB extension cable.

Connect all other USB accessories to USB ports on the front of the console.

Note: You'll have to purchase a power/USB cable if your want to connect the Kinect sensor which you have bought with an Xbox 360 S Console, to an Original Xbox 360 console.

Xbox 360 S console

In Xbox 360 S console, the Kinect sensor cable does not need to be attached with a power plug. So disconnect the power plug portion of the cable if it is attached with a power plug.

You need to plug the sensor cable into the AUX port on the back of the console.

The power supply in the Xbox One S is multi-voltage, it will work on 240v and 110v power sources. You just need a power cable. The Xbox One power cable is called a fig-8 power cable that can be found in most electrical stores.

With the Xbox One powered on, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 5 seconds, once the console has powered off remove the power cable from the console, wait 30 seconds and then reconnect the power cable. Power the Xbox One on and try fifa again.

The power cable that connects between the power supply block and the mains outlet on the wall is actually a

standard AC cord that many other devices use, like TVs, monitors, and desktop computers.

You'll want either the C18 AC cord, or the more common C14 AC cord. They are cheap to replace. Just order one online somewhere or borrow one from an existing device in your home. Chances are you might even have an extra cable like that lying
around.

If you need a new power supply block, you will have to
contact Microsoft for a replacement. Microsoft sells neither the block or the cord separately like accessories on the store.

Thanks for coming to the forums. The cord is supposed to fit snug in the fitting. If it is loose, you may want to look around game stores to try and purchase a new one. Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer sells the power cords.
