Xbox one power button lights up then turns off immediately.

I've had no problems with my xbox one that is up until it decided it would no longer power on. I have tried pressing the button on the front faceplate, using the controller, neither work. The Xbox very briefly powers on and the front power light does light
up but for a second before shutting down. I have tried unplugging everything and leaving it for 5 mins and still the same. Also the light on the power brick is solid orange and I don't think there is a problem with that. Even tried plugging it into a different
mains socket - still nothing.

I have yet to find a solution to this on Microsoft's support page so any advice would be welcome.

Unfortunately my system is out of warranty and I'm afraid of Microsoft charging an extortionate amount for taking this brick off my hands.

Xbox 360E won't power on

My Xbox 360E turns off immediately after pressing the power button to turn it on. The center power light illuminates green, then goes off after a second. The power supply light is green. Any fix for this? Thanks.

Xbox one won't boot up.

I hit the power button, it lights up does the "beep" then immediately shuts off. Any ideas?

This troubleshooting guide is the last thing to read before it tells you to send your hardware in for repair. Follow the guide and determine which is
really at fault: the console, or power supply unit. Determining which is at fault should help with your repair order, as you can only send either the console itself or the power supply.

There's not much else to tell you here if you still can't get the Xbox to turn on. Seems your only available options are to pay for the repair, or get a brand new console.

The power brick light is green when it's running, also lately the Xbox seems to take quite a long time to turn off completely, most of the time double tapping the power button pad thing it'll turn off immediately, I'm wondering if it doing this is a symptom
(for lack of a better word) of the malfunction.

my xobox one will not turn on either. once i plug the power brick to the wall light turns on amber then off again. if i unplug all cables then just plug the power supply to the wall the amber light is on, indicating power.. turns off immediately after being
connected to the xbox one console. can't seem to find any help except that microsoft xbox support suggested that i return the power supply in order to receive a replacement power supply

Same here the Xbox one isnt booting up for me the power brick is amber then I press the on button the brick light turns white then the whole lot shuts off

Have you tried resetting your Xbox One? Touch and hold the power button on the console until the console powers off, wait until the light for the Home button on your controller turns off before powering back on.

Xbox one power button lights up then turns off immediately.
