    Xbox one Power brick

I have a quick question about my xbox one power brick . When my console is turned off , the brick makes a soft , rapid , clicking noise . Is this normal ? It is not noisy. And I usually do not notice it unless I put my ear close to the power brick. I just
dont want this turning into a bigger issue. Does anyone else haev this issue?

    :)

Can I use an Xbox 360 slim power brick on an Xbox One

So I have not upgraded to an Xbox One yet, but I found one on Ebay for 218 dollars. The reason it is so cheap is because it comes without a controller and the power brick. I can buy a controller no problem, but that leaves the power brick. From what I have seen online, the power brick for the Xbox One has similar jacks to the one on my Xbox 360 slim. I checked online to see if the power brick would work with the One, but I found no information on it. Do any of you happen to know if it works?

  5. The power brick fans may run when the console is in a low power state (Semi off) but should not be "clicking" Sounds like the possibility of a fan going bad which could lead to overheating issues down the road. I would suggest setting up a replacement with
    Microsoft.

Can't hear a thing from the Power brick on my Norwegian Day one console.. not even when the room is compleetly quiet.. On the one I Imported from Amazon.de I could hear a slight low noise that I reccon came from the fan in the power-brick (Instant on mode)
but no clicking.. (Sold it on the cheap to a cousin of mine as I decided to keep my preorder) So I Guess that there can be slight diffrences on noice levels between power-bricks... But I don't think that clicking is normal.. Could be no big deal as ProGamer4Life13
says, but worth keeping an "eye" on to determine if it's stable or if it's getting worse..

(Warranty on the Power-brick on the Xbox One is the same as the console..)

If it's an Xbox One S or X you should be okay if it's one of the original Xbox One consoles that has the power brick then you will need to obtain a new power brick.

    Hi also try this

Turn off your Xbox One Via the power button on the console hold it for 10 seconds.

Once the indicator lights on the front of the Xbox One and the console's power brick are off, unplug the power brick from the back of your console.

    Wait at least 30 seconds.

Plug the power brick back into your Xbox One and turn it on

Xbox wont turn on. New power brick died in less than a week.

Power bricks for the Xbox One are no longer manufactured by Microsoft, so you probably have a 3rd party manufactured one. These are not supported by Microsoft and as such, can have problems. The only way to find out if it is the console or power brick,
is to try another power brick.

    Hi

If it is an Xbox One S or X then it should work as these support multi voltages. If it is the original Xbox One that has a separate power brick then you will purchase a replacement power brick.
