Xbox one power brick making noise fan issue.- flip it over

I saw a few posts on the Xbox fan noise and saw one person [Mod Removed - Please don't post self-repair tips]. I did not feel comfortable like he did in taking the brick apart to vend the fan back, or void my warranty. So instead I flipped
the brick over and the noise stopped. So yes the fan is loose and is making the noise. I'll probably put cabinet bumpers on the top do it can stay upside down until I get the warranty call done.

The reason your Power Brick is making a humming noise, is because inside of the power brick. Is a little fan, this fan keeps your Power Brick at the correct temperature. If your power brick gets hot, the fans RPM will increase and it will make a humming
sound because your XBOX Power Brick Fan is cooling down your Power Brick. Nothing to worry about unless it's a roaring sound.

 

360 Slim power supply noise

My 360 slim power brick is making a constant loud fan noise, i have replaced the original with an used one from Gamestop and its still making the same noise. Is there any fix for this?

 

My power brick used to do exactly the same thing, and flipping it worked for me too.

It only takes the fan to become a little loose or off centre for it to make a noise in use.

Since this isn't a support issue, I will go ahead and lock this down. However, I'll verify myself so everyone can see this as a possible solution to any noise issues they may be having with their power supply!
