Xbox One Power Brick clicking sound

I think its time for a new one but try unplugging from wall socket and console for 5 minutes if still making this sound contact support.

The reason your Power Brick is making a humming noise, is because inside of the power brick. Is a little fan, this fan keeps your Power Brick at the correct temperature. If your power brick gets hot, the fans RPM will increase and it will make a humming
sound because your XBOX Power Brick Fan is cooling down your Power Brick. Nothing to worry about unless it's a roaring sound.

Is sounds like the power brick of your Xbox One is defective because I've never heard any noise come out from my Xbox 360 power brick and Xbox One power brick.

Your console is still under the store warranty, just go back and swap it out for another one

If the power brick is making a huming sound then that is a falut with the brick itsself. The only way too fix it would be too get a new power brick. Warranty on the console would be expired since you have a OG Xbox one. So you would just need too purachse
one online Amazon sell them for example

Microsoft no longer sell or replace power bricks since the OG xbox one has been discontined

Any unnatural fan noises are something to be concerned about. The sound in the video is an odd one, it almost sounds like the fan is clipping something. If possible, with the Xbox powered off, rotate the fan with your finger and see if the blades catch on anything
or if the clicking sound is coming from the center of the fan.

If it's the latter, there's a chance something has worked it's way into the bearing casing/housing. I'd replace the fan/power brick if this turns out to be the problem.
