@Kingvas78 I'm not necessarily applying to Xbox, I would like to work for a gaming or entertainment company in some capacity. I have yet to finish school and if something like an idea or concept gets used by Microsoft or Xbox I don't see why not, i would
love nothing more than to turn one of my passions into

    reality...

@tropical the fact is removing a HDMI in port or removing kinect will not make the X1 anymore game focused than what it is. MS have custom built it to get the most out of games as it is. The OS is partitioned for a reason. You can't have one group of games
using more resources than others are allowed. What if I wish to play a game that used more but I still want to snap and run streams at the same time. My game will crash.

Bad idea, devs would have to make multiple versions of games and that raises dev cost and will raise the price of games. I vote no.

@RippenHara I didn't say remove any HDMI ports or remove the Kinect simply put I don't use it so have another option for people whom do not use the equipment is all. Why do I "need" the Kinect? I don't and the Xbox has power consumption geared specifically
towards the use of Kinect so release all of it to people whom do not use it and the people that do great. It's a win win for both groups, secondly this is a probable scenario that should be able to be balanced for just gaming or just Multimedia I know people
with Xbox One's whom don't even play games and believe they would benefit from an update like this as well. I know you may not think this would work but it does microsoft just released 12% of the power consumption from the Kinect so I ask how much is left
to be released? I believe there is plenty and want to see what it's capable of instead of waiting 6 years for good games because at this moment I don't consider games running at 792p to be "Next-Gen" graphics and power which is what I was promised so I believe
it is under-powered and could use a little boost...

  5. @DemonJ Actually the Xbox One has the same exact Architecture as PC so in theory If you read into exactly what was updated in this months Titanfall update, Microsoft took 12% of the CPU/GPU power dedicated to the Kinect and they released this power and
allocated it into gaming and I believe this same thing can be done with the rest of the system when I won't be putting my cable box into the Xbox and never use the Kinect so I think more power could be allocated elsewhere as well as other programs running
on the OS in the Xbox. This power allocation was done through a software update and I don't think it should be that big of a problem. Also I want this theoretical software update able to be reversed at will with a reboot of the system

Kinect has its own processors and ram on board so the 12% Gpu draw is a bit of guess work. I highly doubt it's that much.

Here you go, the system reserves 10% of it's GPU or CPU towards Kinect, I don't know what your talking about but Microsoft reserved this power for developers to play around with and put that power back into the system. So the system is essentially 8-12%
faster or quicker and produces better frame rates. My idea is based off of what Microsoft did they have other entities of the system wrapped up using percentage's of the CPU/GPU for non-gaming factor's like the Multi-Media aspects of the System like Skype
and other applications that draw on power from the CPU or GPU. I would like a way for Microsoft or for me to re-allocate this power into a more of a gaming platform or if you like watching movies or talking to people through Skype your video calling would
be second to none with the Kinect. I believe this would help the Xbox become more of what is was designed to be into the original 2 systems Microsoft was thinking of developing, except you get to essentially choose which Identity you would want instead of
buying a different console. Also Microsoft would not have even emailed me back if this wasn't possible, they just did this and I believe more power can be re-allocated the question becomes how much before the system crashes I get your concerns but this was
just done and not taken from the Kinect but it's own systems CPU or GPU on the Xbox One..

@rippenharra I never said the Xbox One is not a gaming machine, but as someone whom never will use the Kinect, Social Media applications, and maybe a few other features like hooking a cable box up since I don't have cable would benefit I believe from a re-allocation
of certain resources. As they would go unused as is for certain people that only game, and don't use half of the features.
