    XBOX one Power adapter issue


    Hi All,

    Unknowingly I have used my XBox One adapter 110V (bought from US) in 220V (in Indian) socket but with the travel adapter. While switching on my home's power circuit was cut automatically. I want to know is my Xbox one adapter is
    safe or its gone. It was connected to my Xbox console as well. Is my console also damaged.

    Please help resolve my query.

    Hi LAxgoalie,

    I'm sorry to hear about your challenges turning on your Xbox One. Can you please confirm that prior to the issue, the Xbox One was unplugged? Additionally, have you tried a second power adapter for the Xbox One? In many cases, if the power adapter goes into
    a "trouble" mode, it will glow orange similar to when the Xbox is not on.

    I just moved From Turkey Tu San Francisco. I have 360 Slim but it does not work here. I was thinking i need a new power adapter. Can someone help me to what kind of adapter will need and where can I find it?

    More than likely the fuse inside the power brick will have blown which will have also tripped your homes circuit.

    I doubt that your console itself is damaged as its the power bricks job to protect it.

    Trying to connect Xbox One Kinect and it's not loading the correct drivers which is WDF KinectSensor Interface 0 instead of the Audio Camera etc...

    if memory serves, you need to get a specific adapter for the PC that will provide the power. The Xbox one connect to the proprietary plug that one into the back of the Xbox one, and you need an adapter for the Xbox one S but also included a power brick that would also powered on PC

    Are you sure it's the power adapter in this case? Is the adapter bricked or the light red? Generally buying a console from one country and trying to use it in another won't work for a variety of reasons. It probably isn't the power adapter causing the issues
    in this case. With the different countries consoles not being compatiable.
