  1. Xbox One Power Adapter Import

I recently bought an Xbox One from USA. I shifted to India, but the power brick isn't compatible. It's rated at 100-127V where as in India its 200-240V, so that means I would need a UK or EU power brick. Since the console will not be launched till September,
I am stuck and can't buy it from here. Is there any official way I can get it? I saw some third party ones on eBay and Amazon but they output 135W maximum, which is more than enough since the console consumes a maximum of 119W only (according to Anandtech),
so I guess that could be a temporary solution. One of my friend is using it since a month and he says it works fine.

    Any tips or info?

    :)

    Xbox One power cord?

A quick question to the owners of the Xbox One:

Considering about importing an X1, but if I import one from the UK, I'm gonna need an adapter or a different kind of power cable.

I understand the Xbox One has a detachable power cord on that end of the power brick that goes to the wall outlet? Is it the usual type D-kinda plug that fe. desktop PC PSUs and many monitors use? Such as in this picture:

I would personally advise against using a power supply that is not native to the region it is being intended to be used in. You can risk damage to your console and a void in warranty. You would take these steps at your own risks, I can only back up what
it says on the following page.

I know this may not be the news you wanted to hear but its far better to be safe than sorry.

    I hope it helps.

    Many thanks,

  5. I don't think using a UK power brick will cause any issues since the voltage and frequency is the same as Indian voltage and frequency. Using a third party one might cause issues though, but one of my friends is using it since a month and he hadn't faced
any problems so far. I don't have a lot of options, Microsoft should sell power brick separately also

Bring my Xbox One to Europe?

The only "problem" should be the different power adapter. I imported my console from US to Europe when it first was released. No problem.

Trying to connect Xbox One Kinect and it's not loading the correct drivers which is WDF KinectSensor Interface 0 instead of the Audio Camera etc...

if memory serves, you need to get a specific adapter for the PC that will provide the power. The Xbox one connect to the proprietary plug that one into the back of the Xbox one, and you need an adapter for the Xbox one S but also included a power brick that would also powered on PC

Xbox One won't turn on ?

I agree that it could be the adapter. I know that with adapters sometimes they do not give as much power as as they would through plugging it straight into the socket. Did you try a different one? You mentioned you were from Norway what type of socket do
you have? Is there not a similar one from a European country that you could have imported instead?
