Xbox One positioning

I am planning to buy an Xbox One in the next couple weeks. I have limited open shelf space and was wondering if it was safe to set the Xbox 360 on top of the Xbox One.

Hello,Ive been wondering if its possible to put the xbox one to make it tall instead of laying flat on the ground thanks if u answer this I'm wondering because I wanna take up less space

No mate I wouldn't do that, it would be bad for both consoles, it doesn't require masses of space just good air circulation, also the power brick needs breathing space good luck and enjoy.

Just Make sure it will be in a properly ventilated place, also that it's positioned horizontally.

U hmmm according to the instructions and the support website, It should only be placed flat with space to vent and not be enclosed.

If strongly suggest going by the manual. If you threw it away go here:

It can be placed either way, however it is advised that the console be placed so that the disc tray is horizontal with the ground.
