Xbox One Portugal

Hey, I leave in portugal and the xbone haven't came out here yet, if I buy it on uk I will have trouble to play games online?

I bought one off Amazon and it works just fine in Portugal. Just signed in with my old uk account, bought forza on line and now playing ghost ok.

May be down to having a uk gamer tag account.

But if we can get one from united states or other country when we activate do we get stuck\blocked by microsoft???

 

Hi, if you buy a UK Xbox One you can play it in Portugal and all the games will work, remember that the UK has 3 pin plugs though and aren't compatible with Continental Europe power outlets without a travel adapter.

Some features may not work correctly like voice control of the console until Microsoft releases the Xbox One officially in Portugal. Also, you may not be able to purchase games digitally as the Portugal Xbox One Marketplace may not be live yet so you might
not be able to buy Addons for games either.

 

But the xbox live gold will work normaly right?

 

Boas meu. Tambem sou portugues e mandei vir a minha one da amazon do reino unido. Tudo funciona na boa. O live é o mesmo para as duas consolas, podes usar o teu perfil em ambas as cosolas e ate podes ter as duas ligadas ao mesmo tempo com o mesmo perfil.
Jogas online na boa sem problemas. A unica diferença é que para comprar jogos online tenho de usar uma morada inglesa mas isso não é problema porque se arranja na boa. E apenas uma morada de verificação e nada de importante. E tambem o cabo de corrente tem
uma ficha diferente das nossas mas basta usares o que tens na tua 360 ou então arranjas um adaptador. Espero ter ajudado

Hi CurvingIsland. If you are looking for game play..yes it definitely works..

I had bought it in US and took it to india. Could easily play, Forza 5, COD(Physical Disk)

Recently downloaded, fifa 14 (digital version) and even thats also playing correctly. I have not changed any system settings. My Time and country is currently set to US only.

I would suggest, you to go ahead if you are keen on getting an xbox one....only thing being the Power Adapter which you need to verify

However i have purchased using an INDIAN Credit Card as well. Let me know if you have any more queries.
