    I would really like to know who else is moderating my thread, several of my posts have been deleted, and Lei Fang DOAX3 took the liberty of trying to change the subject to be about Alien Isolation. If you would like to talk about other games, start your

  2. For what it's worth. Last time I called support the policy was 1 digital refund per year, no questions asked. Unless they've changed it. Maybe ask to speak to a supervisor.

  3. They changed it, I spoke to two support assistants, and a supervisor. All of them told me that per policy it is impossible to issue a refund after the titles release date on any digital content. I think this is money-grubbing nonsense and if the downloadable
    titles are that handicapped, they should certainly cost less.

    I personally have had a refund when buying digital content, so can confirm it does happen. I bought elder scrolls online from the marketplace and upon release i was unable to create an account for the game to be able to play it, i explained this to support
    and was refunded. The game wouldnt do what it was supposed to do, so i got the refund, it depends on the reason for the refund, e.g. not having a split screen option is not a fault with the game if it wasnt intended to be there.

    I feel for you, but a line has to be drawn somewhere, if they refund when its not a faulty item and it does what it intended to do just not what someone hoped it would, they would have to then do it for everyone and people would abuse a system like that,
    hence why its the way it is.

    My example with Alien Isolation was simply to point out that I didn't check what the game had in store for me before purchasing it.

    Had I known everything that I did now, I would not have picked-up Alien Isolation.

    Long story short, I should have done more research on the game before picking it up Xbox one policy revision :(

    Yes that seems to be the case, the only refunds they give are for defective merchandise. I couldn't get xbox live coop to work at all. Does that constitute a broken game tho?
