Today I spent 3 hours talking to different members of Xbox customer support. Only to have each of them tell me that Microsoft, off all entities, Is incapable of giving dissatisfied customers refunds. What is it about digital content, that makes it impossible
to return? Absolutely nothing, the only thing keeping us from getting our money back, is the amount of profit Microsoft stands to make from so many people unwittingly paying for half games. Speaking of half games Halo 5 Guardians was not the acclaimed best
game of 2015, nor was it the best Halo by any stretch of imagination. It was garbage. And with its release 343, and Microsoft studios, have betrayed Halo fans and gamers alike. The reason I played halo, was to have fun with my friends and loved ones,
not some smart *** kid from another country. More and more games are single player games, and more and more of our party games, are becoming outlets for meeting people over the internet. I have a lot of passion for your products Microsoft, it would really
suck if all you where about was making as much money as possible.

    :)

  3. Power Supply Question

I have two Xbox 360 Slims. One came with a power supply that is Revision 03. The other power supply is Revision B.

Are these power supply units interchangeable? Can I use the Revision 03 power supply with the Xbox that came with a Revision B power supply and vice versa?

    Thanks!

You don't get a refund because you don't like it, not sure about the rest of your complaint, as halo is pretty much the same as it has been in terms of how you play and who you play with.

Also this is a discussion forum so MS nor 343 will ever see it.

All companies are here to make as much money as possible, MS is no different. They originally planned on making a way of buying back digital games, but the internet was quick to kill that off.

Anyways, retail stores are no different, they won't refund a game that's been opened.

  6. Proof Zero.

Microsoft had no original policy for buying / trading/ selling digital games.

And under EU Law, Not sure about US. If a game is badly released, like AC or Other such games, You are now entitled to a refund digitally.

  7. I fell in love with halo playing split screen with my lady. Of course when Halo 5 was released I bought it with ought hesitation. Only reading the short description available in store. I was all set to play Coop or warzone on live with my girl. Only to find
out for the first time ever, Halo sold out. I don't want to buy another console to enjoy this game with my girl. I want to be able to play it like Halo Has always been.

I guess as much support kept asking me if anything about it was broke. I won't play it anymore, so I have no idea

there maybe some sort of lemon law in US, i'm not really sure, but i've never seen anyone get an actual refund on a new game that was opened.

spent about 10 minutes looking for the articles, but that's all the time i'm putting into it, but before they said they were removing the DRM, they were "talking" about establishing a buy back program with authorized retailers for digital content, whether
it would have worked or not is a moot point.

edit: they announced a while before Halo 5 released that there was not split screen.

there is no MP i have ever played where none split screens thought it was a good idea, IMO removing split screen from MP (unless in private matches) is a good thing.

Most retail stores won't let you return a game once it's been opened. So, how is this any different?

Hardly any software companies will give you a refund once their product has been downloaded. Let it be a lesson to do your research on a game (or ANY product) before buying it if it's really that big of a deal to you. If you're that unhappy, sell the game
on eBay and move on with your life. Much easier than wasting 3 hours with support who can't do anything.

Costco will take open games back on return. I bought GTA 4 and it wouldn't load. Returned it no questions asked.

Steam started giving refunds a while back. AFAIA thousands of gamers got refunded for Batman Arkham Knight. Depending on Valve's experience with digital refunds over time, down the line, if things go smoothly with it - maybe we'll see other digital distribution
services offering a blanket refund policy too.

Edit: Pretty sure there's a refund available on Steam if you play a game for less than a certain amount of time. [2 hours maybe?] Don't know what it is off the top of my head.

  15. .........

Hello "TisThe Bamboozle" Xbox one policy revision :)

    .........

I am really sorry to hear about your lack your satisfaction with the product that you purchased.

    .........

Unfortunately, giving customers a refund because they (the customer) didn't like the game will probably never happend because if developers refunded people based on this, they (the developers) would lose a lot of money.

    .........

Once a customer purchases a game ($66.00 price tag for me), it is the customers sole responsibility to do the research before purchasing the product.

The developers get their money (from the $66.00 purchase) and if the game just so happends to be a disc copy, a $66.00 would probably get around $15.00 to $20.00 store credit.

Then, that same game would be re-sold $60.50 under the previously used sticker tag price.

    ..........

I have paid $66.00 for games that I didn't like and I got stuck with them, that is how things are unfortunately.

    ..........

Have a nice day or afternoon or night "TisTheBamboozle" Xbox one policy revision :)

    ...........
