Xbox one. Playing games on a used xbox

So I'm thinking of buying a used xbox off someone and they have games already on there. Am I going to be able to play those games or what? Or do i like need special permission or that persons account or something. I want to make sure before I buy. Can someone
answer this for me?

What should Microsoft do?

Only problem with xbox one is the authentication every 24 hours. Used games are fine. I can buy a game and my family can share my games even on another xbox while I'm playing. Good enough.

Just so you all know, I do not play Xbox 360 games on my Xbox One, I play them on my Xbox 360.

I've never used the Xbox 360 Emulator on the Xbox One so I don't know what effect going off-line from the internet will have when playing Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One.

As long as they leave the console as their Home console, you'll be able to access the games on your own account. They'll either already show as installed or as ready to install. If the original owner every changes that setting, you will lose access to the
games.

Along with what Smwutches said if the guy is offering to sell you the account with the xbox DO NOT do it because it would be against the code of conduct to purchase accounts.

You can not play xbox one or xbox 360 games - either on disc or digitally - on a windows 10 PC. The

play anywhere feature is only for those who have purchased the digital copy of the games on that list and it can be played on xbox one and windows 10, that does not apply to xbox 360 games at all.

You CAN stream them from an xbox one to your windows 10 PC using the Streaming feature in the xbox app on windows 10 and then have your xbox one play a backwards compatible game and then stream the xbox one to your PC while it's playing an xbox 360 game
and you can earn achievements that way.
