Xbox One Play & Charge Kit Warranty Question

Hi, I am trying to find info on how to use the warranty on my Xbox One Play & Charge Kit, but I can't seem to find where to go or where to register my S/N. I thought I found the right spot but then I kept getting an error saying they can't register it and
to contact support. Can someone help me with where to go or how to have this battery repaired? Its kinda dumb that it just stopped working in like 8-9 months with not much use.

Devices section of Microsoft Support. From there you can create accessory service orders.

Really? Could you show me where this says this? I can't believe they'd have such a terrible warranty. Dam, just when I was thinking Microsoft was making some good decision they go and disrespect people with that. Good thing I bought a extended warranty
on amazon I guess

I would recommend for you to contact Live Support so they can assist you further into registering your Xbox and checking the warranty status of the Charge and Play kit. If
you're within warranty the repair/replacement will usually be free of charge.​

Before having to go with any third party, I would suggest to always double check warranty status with MS.

A 90 day warranty is actually quite common practice on console accessories. Even Playstation only has a 90 day warranty on accessories.
