    Xbox One Play and Charge Kit Not Working


    Hi. I have bought a Play and Charge kit for my xbox controller about 35 days ago. It has worked fine until yesterday (12/22). Now it will show an amber light, and about 5 minutes later, it will glow white and it stops charging the battery. When I unplug
    it, it shows that its low battery and it dies about 10 minutes later. I’ve tried looking on microsoft for solutions but no luck. Its already About 5 days past the 30 days for my retailer for return so thats out of the question. Any answers would be appreciated.

    My play and charge kit is working and lasting fine on the Xbox One. And for the 360 I used the play and charge kit briefly, and i did not like the cords. So I switched to the quick charge kit. I found that to be far more satisfactory than the play and
    charge.

    Xbox Play & Charge Kit work with original Microsoft Xbox One joypad and the cable that you need is a simple USB Micro-A that you find in the Xbox Play & Charge Kit.

    Is your console turned on? Are you able to see if the battery symbol shows it is charging?

    These charging kits, unfortunately, do not last forever. Here is the play and charge support page which has more troubleshooting options. It does say Xbox One, but the kits work the same on the 360.
