    Xbox One Play and Charge Kit NOT CHARGING


    I have just purchased a Play and Charge Kit which doesn't seem to want to charge the battery at all. The cable doesn't light up like it shows in the instructions but does power the controller. I have made sure that the controller is up to date. I have
    a Xbox One S.

    It does however the older controller will not work with the new cables

    You need an old micro USB for that to work

    You do need the USB type c cable for the new series z controllers which are 3rd gen

    Xbox plug and play, there is no two ways about it. One thing though they should consider making the kit available with new consoles.

    Hi, the original Xbox required a dvd playback kit to play dvd's. It was basically a small piece of hardware with a remote control, which you plugged into one of the controller ports which would then let you play dvd's. If you have not got this, then that
    is why you cannot play them on that console. The dvd playback kit looks like this.
