    xbox one play and charge kit not charging


    I've got a almost new xbox one play and charge kit, but when i plug in the cable , the led on it goes immediatly white, even though the battery is dying.

    When plugged in, if I press the xbox button to see the charge state of the controller it shows that it is connected but not charging, while if plug it in another usb port (not on the console) it just does nothing except for the white led. What should I do?

    How do most of you charge your controllers?

    Quick charge kit, right in front of me as my 360 and my PC shares one monitor. Had 2 play n' charge kits and returned both of them because it's not charging for some reason.

    Does Xbox One S have rechargeable batteries for there controllers?

    You can use any of the usb ports on the console to plug in the charging cable:

    You say almost new. Did you purchase this used from a store or from another individual. The reason I ask is that it sounds like you were sold faulty equipment.

    If it was purchased from a store you should be able to return it for an exchange. If it was purchased from another individual then you'll have to see if they'll take it back.

    My play and charge kit is working and lasting fine on the Xbox One. And for the 360 I used the play and charge kit briefly, and i did not like the cords. So I switched to the quick charge kit. I found that to be far more satisfactory than the play and
    charge.
