    Xbox One Picture Messed Up


    Was playing last night with no issues. I get on this morning and the picture is blurry with completely messed up colors. I could barely even navigate to the settings to try and solve the issue but no luck there. I rebooted the console twice which also did
    nothing. Then I tried to recalibrate my TV which is where I found something strange.

    My TV has 5 different picture modes; Normal, Sports, Vivid, Low Power, Movie. For some reason, when I put it on the Movie setting everything looks normal and every other mode has the same color issue. But up until this morning I have always had the mode
    set to Vivid because I like that it makes the color a little sharper and easier to see enemies in games.

    I know it's not a TV issue because everything else on the TV besides the xbox looks fine in every picture mode. Normally I would just leave it on Movie and be done, but the brightness and colors just aren't as good as on the Vivid setting so if there is
    a fix, I'd like to be able to use my preferred picture mode.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Shouldn't there be a watermark in your profil picture? I just got the achievment for owning a Day One Edition.

    I was told bei Amazon.de that you will get an Watermark in profil that declares you as an XBOX One Day One owner.

    Or did they mess something up?

    Galactic Geek is right only the temporary memory will get wiped. All of your DLC, Profile and games will be safe. It is kinda like when you clear the system cache on the Xbox 360.

    No, a hard reset simply deletes the cache (also known as temporarily saved data); your games, saves, etc. will remain unaffected.
