Xbox one party/gamechat issue

So I recently got a xbox one again and had purchased the stealth 600 gen 2 wireless headset. At first I was able to hear people and talk both ingame and party. But that came to a end very quickly so me thinking it was a headset issue I got a new wireless
headset for my xbox. At first it was doing the same thing cant hear or talk to people both ingame or party chat. I was able to get a fix by restoring my xbox but not delete my gamed option and I was able to hear and talk to my friends in party chat. In game
I could only talk but not hear anyone. Some other things I looked into was the volume settings. Privacy settings updating my controller power cycle my xbox. And nothing is working as of right now. I know it's not a headset issue due to it works on my buddy's
xbox and it was happening with my first headset I got.
