Xbox One Party Chat - Random Disruption.

It's every other day server status goes down for one reason or another and I am so sick of this. There is no reason we as gamers should pay for this, it went down in the middle of a work day and we pay money for this service? If it's not one thing, it's
another... I just want to game and have a fully functional Xbox One, nope... This is it after I get a PC, I'm boycotting for the numerous slaps in the face since the start of the Xbox One's life span! Microsoft, your gaming division is going down the toilet
if you keep interrupting us with "server status down" alerts. IT HAPPENS TO OFTEN AND THERE IS NO EXCUSE BECAUSE WE PAY MONEY FOR THIS SERVICE! Fix the service or get out of the market!

As it was pointed to you before when you signed up for Xbox Live, you agreed to the Terms of Use, which includes this section:

"YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT computer and telecommunications systems are not fault-free and occasional periods of downtime occur. We do not guarantee the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free or that CONTENT loss won't occur."

it shows nothing is down according to the status page. yet I still have the issue as well. tried looking up the error code on the xbox web site.... no results. what is this error code? [0x89231027]

the error code you receive shows you have an issue with your NAT and multiplayer settings that impedes the normal chat connection. Check this link for a probable solution:

support.xbox.com/.../troubleshoot-parties

If you still need support, you should open a new post.

It is ridiculous this happening again, 2nd night in a row and all they keep saying is "be patient".

It shouldn't be happening full stop.

Live is absolutely shocking on X1 compared to what it was on 360.
