    Xbox One Party Chat Problems


    This has been happening to me and many of my friends for a while

    For some reason whenever I accidentaly disconet my mic because of a pull, or I run out of batteries it appears I dont have a microphone on the party chat.

    To solve this I have to restart my whole controller and unplug the mic and adaptor or get out and join the party again.

    This really frustrates me and I would apreciate if anyone could give a solution.

    I also know its not my adaptor or microphone because I have tried it with different ones, aswell as my friends.

    You too huh? EVERY SINGLE PERSON on my friends list tell me they also have party chat problems. I also have these party chat problems. Most people I talk to in online games tell me they also have these party chat problems.

    The console is over a year old now and WE STILL HAVE THESE PARTY CHAT PROBLEMS!

    Error code: 0x89231806 Blocking Party chat

    I'm getting this exact issue. Why does the XBOX One Party chat suffer so many issues? It's amazing how on the XBOX 360 there wasn't this many problems with the party chat. Now with the XBOX One it's been nothing but issues with the Party chat since the
    system was released.

    My NAT = OPEN

    0X89231806 your network settings are blocking party chat.

    I'm also tired of Microsoft constantly suggesting to do a hard reset on the system. It seems to be their answer to everything. Have a problem? Hard reset your system.

    Hello!

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. There is an audio setting called chat mixer which balances the party chat volume with the rest of the volume on the console. The article entitled

    Troubleshoot Audio Problems in Parties on Xbox One     explains how to adjust the chat mixer. Be sure to let us know the results!
