Xbox one party chat problem

So I've been having a really weird and annoying problem with my party chat. My friend that I play with most online is having the exact same issue. If we tried to join a party chat together that only we are in the party chat will not work but if we are in
a party chat that someone else has invited us to them we can then hear and talk to each other. I was wondering what could be the problem for this I've tried everything that other people have said to try and nothing is working

I have and **** tg852 , wireless, only one xbox one.

im having problem turning on party chat I can join party, nut have a problem when I want to turn on the chat.

my network type is open and I have done a reset of my router and and xbox with no results. I can join online games I just cant party chat.

any help would be wonderful.

I'm getting this exact issue. Why does the XBOX One Party chat suffer so many issues? It's amazing how on the XBOX 360 there wasn't this many problems with the party chat. Now with the XBOX One it's been nothing but issues with the Party chat since the
system was released.

I'm also tired of Microsoft constantly suggesting to do a hard reset on the system. It seems to be their answer to everything. Have a problem? Hard reset your system.

PLEASE FIX THE PARTY CHAT SYSTEM

 

It sounds like the two of you possibly both have strict NAT settings so therefore cannot join each other, but if someone with open NAT hosts you can both connect fine and hear each other.

You should check your network settings in the console's settings and run the multiplayer and network tests to see if that could be the issue.
