    Xbox One Party Chat Issues


    This started not too long ago. Whenever I’d try to talk to my friend he wouldn’t be able to hear me but I could hear him. The xbox party chat recongized us both as party members with active mics, he could see my party chat bubble activate whenever I’d
    talk. My xbox is updated, as is my controller. I’ve already tried to restart xbox, and have tried most of the stuff I’ve seen here and on other websites. This happened out of nowhere and is very frusterating. He’s one of the few friends who still has an xbox
    that I’m able to play with. When I play Fortnite with him I’m able to hear him through game chat since he’s on PC when he plays Fort, so neither of our mics are broken, it’s Xbox’s party system. Is there anyway to fix this?

    I'm getting this exact issue. Why does the XBOX One Party chat suffer so many issues? It's amazing how on the XBOX 360 there wasn't this many problems with the party chat. Now with the XBOX One it's been nothing but issues with the Party chat since the
    system was released.

    0X89231806 your network settings are blocking party chat.

    I'm also tired of Microsoft constantly suggesting to do a hard reset on the system. It seems to be their answer to everything. Have a problem? Hard reset your system.

    No sound on my headset

    Hello!

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. There is an audio setting called chat mixer which balances the party chat volume with the rest of the volume on the console. The article entitled

    Troubleshoot Audio Problems in Parties on Xbox One     explains how to adjust the chat mixer. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Im have the exact same issue, my older Xboxone works and my newer model does not, I'v also tried

    port forwarding.

    clearing the Mac.

    Factory reboot.

    Updating controllers.

    Using multiple remotes and head sets.

    I even got a new modem/router from (Xfinity)"updated"

    The chat also come out choppy from the TV.

    I'm on the same boat buddy, hope someone can help out!!!
