Xbox one party Chat delay

Hey there I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I'm noticing that there is a delay when i walk so heres and example of what I'm talking about

Im talking to my friend and ill say i like turtles right? so he has an echo in his background and it takes like 3 seconds to get to him so ill say i like turtles 3 seconds later he's hearing me saying that i like titles when i said that 3 seconds ago.Im not
sure if its my connection or headset i have a astro a40s headset.Me and my friend both live in the same place .Please help me its really getting annoying

Delay in party chat

Hi,

I'm having this weird voice delay whenever I use the xbox party chat. Whenever I say something, it seems to take 2-3 seconds before the other people in my party hear it. This has made it very annoying in fast-paced games where I have to do callouts. I don't
think it's a problem with my internet as I used a wired connection with a fairly decent download and upload speed. Has there been a solution to this issue?

what type of nat do you and the others have ? if it's not open it may cause delays in the party chat.

It's probably not your headset. It's probably your network connections. I'd head over to the network connections forum and the skilled people who know tons about network connections can help you there.

Heres the thing. In game chats (especially for Rainbow six siege) have no mic delay which is a reason why I dont really use the party chat. It would be amazing to have no mic delay in party chat.

Hi there,

for any weird issues I would first advise to try a power:

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again: http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

Also keep in mind that the issue can be caused by the party host, they might have to power cycle too. After that set up a new party and see if there is any improvement.
