    Xbox One Party Chat and Snap App


    Hello. I am having a problem with Party Chat. I just purchased my Xbox One and Diablo this week. When I join a party, the Snap window is on the right hand side of the screen while in the game. If I remove that window by hitting "B" it kicks me out
    of the party chat. How do I fix this?

    Xbox One network problems

    You can either go to the party app from the home screen, say "Xbox Go To Party", or snap the party (say "Xbox Snap Party"). Within the party window, you should see various options including "Turn Party Chat On."

    If you still have issues starting a party chat I suggest you to check your NAT settings and set them to open.

    Xbox / microsoft fail

    The party chat only usually fails if someone in the party has NAT issues.

    For private chat you can snap the Skype app and use Skype. It even works unsnapped.

    There is a tested workaround for this issue:

    Start the party before you start the game. Have the party undocked. Then start the game and the party chat will remain working.
