    Xbox One party bug


    Anybody else have a problem connecting to a party after an xbox live disconnect?

    when i reconnect to live I'm unable to join the party I was previously connected to.

    Getting pretty annoying as if I fully shut down my xbox i have to enter my network details again as it wipes them.

    Thanks Microsoft! The party bug was fixed but, only one more of my friends can't join my party. His gamertag is TacONBurri70. Can you see if you can improve the xbox party performances so he and I can join each other...Oh! Also can you fix the dashboard
    freeze bug too.

    Sorry to hear about the party issues. Just to make sure we have not missed any troubleshooting steps, I recommend trying a few to see if we can get this issue sorted.

    Please give the following steps a shot:



    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord and unplug your router/modem/gateway.
    • Wait 5 minutes and plug in your console and router/modem/gateway.
    • Power on your console and join a party session to see if you are experiencing the same issue.


    Give the suggested steps a try and let us know if you are still experiencing the party issue.

    Only one person joined and only for a few seconds, my theory is they had bugged the xbox party somehow

    Did Microsoft change the party overlay to make it more to the corner of the screen?

    It's the new update for the MK 2 operating system on Xbox one consoles the update you have noticed is a bug fix for the issues they have been having with party overlay and party chats
