Xbox one party and game chat

1. Party chats on xbox one are so laggy and most of the time they don't even work everyone gets network errors which doesn't make sense Xbox 360 works fine there's no reason Xbox one shouldnt work just as good

2. Every game that has multiplayer the chats there are also very bad sometime one person will join a game with their friends and not be able to hear anyone or talk to anyone so what is the point in even playing on xbox one if you can't talk to your friends

Recording Game/Party Chat

For People that want to record videos on the xbox one and wants to have game chat and party chat on the recordings, they should really put the play through both option like the xbox 360 and have the party and and game chat audio recorded if you guys have
like an Roxio HD Pro or elgatos that want to have game chat and party chat in your vids like my post and help show microsoft what they need to put inside the xbox one Thanks

Agree. Party chat built in on the guide button is far better on 360 and works better

Are you streaming to Twitch directly from the Twitch app on the Xbox? Or are you streaming your Xbox One to your PC through the Xbox Console Companion app? Are you using party chat on the Xbox, or a party through the Xbox Companion app?

What you are describing is by design using the Xbox Live party chats because the servers for the chat are separate from the in-game chat servers. Xbox Live parties effectively mute in-game chat, and mute yourself from in-game chat as well because as I mentioned
previously, party chats and in-game chats run on different servers. Xbox Live parties are more private channels for chatting with friends, so the muting aspect is by design. I believe this is why many Twitch streamers use Discord since you can hear both the
Discord chat and in-game chat at the same time.

One thing that worked for me was if you start an xbox party and then you join a fortnite party and go to the voice chat tab it should give you an option to switch to game chat. Also with the new season I can hear people party chats while in a xbox party

Is this only happening in Xbox party chat or game chat as well when you're playing an online multiplayer game over Xbox Live?

Hi. It's not depend on the headphone. I hear that on tv as well , I hear that in offline game too. Party chat is oke, the games sounds the problem.

you should do more research before you post and complain. games having prelobbys is up to the developer and if xbox one doesn't have it ps4 wont either. and you can invite players to game its all in the snap party chat system i explain it below

party chat over games does exist just not cross platform (xbox 360 to xbox one) to pop up your party say "xbox snap party" and then you can invite people to your games and party chat. TO TALK IN A PARTY ACROSS GAMES make sure everyone turns on party chat.
it is an option within (xbox snap party) otherwise you just stay in game chat

skype is because people are not muting there mics skype should be using kinect if the player muted his headset you wouldnt hear his skype call

and your complaints on forza once again its the developer microsoft didnt make it "turn 10" did
