I have one Question.if I buy a xbox one in canada(NTSC),is it works on PAL region?

What do you not understand Nielo TM...??? A FullHD TV uses NTSC/PAL/SECAM or X.V. Color @50Hz or 60Hz on a "DIGITAL" HDMI Input... So bugger off with your broadcasting standards, when the Xbox360 ouputs NTSC or PAL to a TV that displays; NTSC 1080p 60Hz
(59.94Hz) or PAL 1080p 50Hz + Xbox360 Games are Clearly marked NTSC or PAL Regions...

Providing you have a compatible power supply then you'll be fine.

@Merlin: PAL and NTSC are display technologies and quite separate to region locking.

A 360 is capable of playing PAL and NTSC games and DVDs providing they are region free.

The issue comes to whether the TV can handle the signals and any decent one of say the last 15 years will be able to.

PAL and NTSC (no-one seems to remember Secam) might be used to describe regions but they are a separate issue to region locking.

This is why they have to list NTSC/U and NTSC/J separately on Play-Asia and other sites.

[/quote]PAL and NTSC are redundant standard definition formats (PAL=625i @ 25FPS / NTSC=525i @ 30FPS). These formats are no longer the standards, but the names of them are still used for the companies to region lock their product

yes darksouls is PAL and NTSC specific so downloading a NTSC content from the US wont work on a PAL console (found on the back of your console)

there is no alternative

pal/ntsc content is based on the region of the account since PAL isn't needed in NTSC regions
